Photoshop steps

Opening the photo

• Gradient map - Black and white - multiply

- Blending option: this layer, arrow to 255

- with brush highlighting parts, 25% opacity

• Gradient map - Black and white - lighten

- Blending option: this layer arrow to 255, to all

• Gradient map - Black and white - colour dodge

- Blending option: this and under layer, arrow to 255

- fill 30% -> invert -> 100% highlight the skin

• Curves - burning

• Gradient map - Black and White - multiply

-eclipse tool -> brush middle -> deselect

-feather: a lot

• Colour Blanca: Midtones towards cyan, magenta, and yellow ; Shadows towards blue; Highlights towards red and green

• Background copy - covert to smart object

- blur : surface blur: R15, T10

-invert : brush skin: Blending options <- 170

I also edit the skin with frequency separation, if needed, depending on the subject.

brush settings : wet 1-2%, load: 75%, mix 90%, flow 10%, scale 2, offset 128
